Your TLC Consultant will be the visible leader of your Scriptural Funding Campaign, but work within the format of the normal church structure and under the oversight of the Senior Pastor. The visibility of the Consultant is important because anything in church fund raising that is perceived to be in the shadows creates suspicion.
The TLC Consultant has five primary roles in leading your Scriptural Funding Campaign:
1. Teach Scriptural stewardship truths in an understandable fashion;
2. Challenge (not coerce) your people in sacrificial giving;
3. Lead the organizational structure of the campaign;
4. Train each team for their various responsibilities; and
5. Mentor the campaign leaders in church leadership principles.
